Warranty Policy
1. Introduction
This Warranty Policy describes the limited warranty provided by Unix India (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) for products and services purchased through unixindia.in. By purchasing or using our products or services, you agree to the terms of this Warranty Policy.
2. Warranty Coverage
Unix India warrants that its products, digital goods, and services:
- Will substantially conform to the specifications, descriptions, or functionality communicated at the time of purchase;
- Will be free from material defects in workmanship or performance under normal use and
- Will be delivered in a professional and workmanlike manner.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser or authorized user and is non-transferable.
3. Wrranty Period
Unless a different period is expressly stated at the time of sale:
- Products: Every Unix India Product has a Minimum of 3 Months of Manufacturing Warranty (if otherwise stated on a specific product)/
4. Covered Remedies
If a valid defect is found within the warranty period, Unix India may, at its discretion:
- Repair or remediate the defective product item;
- Replace the product with a substantially similar product;
- Issue a partial or full refund if repair or replacement is not feasible.
5. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage, defects, or failures caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification;
- Use of products or services outside the documented scope or recommended environment;
- Third-party software, hardware, integrations, plugins, or services not supplied by Unix India;
- Issues caused by improper installation, configuration, maintenance, or support by parties other than Unix India;
- Normal wear and tear;
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to acts of God, cyberattacks, or government actions.
6. Customer Obligations
To qualify for warranty service, you must:
- Report the defect within the applicable warranty period;
- Provide proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation from unixindia.in);
- Provide necessary details, logs, access, or assistance as reasonably required for diagnosis.
7. How to File a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim:

- Include your order details, proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
- Provide any requested screenshots, logs, or access information.
We aim to respond to warranty inquiries within 3 to 5 business days.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Unix India will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or services.
- The total liability for any warranty claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service that gave rise to the claim.
9. Disclaimers
Except as expressly set forth in this Warranty Policy, all other warranties, whether express or implied (including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Governing Law
This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Unix India reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Updated versions will be effective upon posting on unixindia.in.
